Before the trip was started, I had naively imagined Terengganu would be as same as Kaula Lumpur, capital city of Malaysia, with full of many high-rise, tall and large buildings firmly standing in the heart of the city, as well as it had systematic transportation. In addition, there were various peoples such as Chinese, Japanese, Indian, European particularly Muslim-Malay walking up and down in the city all the time. In advance, I had searched the Internet some meaningful information concerning “Islamic Civilization Park (ICP) or Taman Tamandun Islam (TTI)” in Malay form.
In my previous imaginary, TTI should be as one Islamic village organising and ruling with Islamic system known as Islamisation ,moreover; every mosque were available to pray inside.
The first programme of our short trip was begun when we reached at the hotel named Tanangan Hotel by Malaysian bus about 3 p.m, Thai Time, to check in. My fellow travelers and I suddenly got off the bus, and I wore my Hiking Backpack over shoulders while standing in front of the hotel, at that moment I looked around the city it was not so crowded on the street and very opposed what I envisaged before. We well and peacefully slept there.
Today is October 30, 2010. The sky was gray and dull with slightly rain in the morning; it made everything encircling the moving bus saturated. While heading to TTI, I viewed through the bus window on my left side such as the street was narrower but the city was cleaner than my country. It took 20 minutes to reach TTP, the first miniature mosque model I saw there through the clear window was Kubbah As-Sakrah, it pictured me as I was visiting in Palestine and others more than twenty the world famous mosque ones such as National Mosque (Malaysia), Kudus Minar (Indonesia), Pattani Central Mosque(Thailand),Tajmahal(India), Badshahi(Pakistan), Kubbah As-Sakhrah(Palestine), Great Mosque of Samara(Iran), Abu Nasr Parsa(Afghanistan), Al-Haram Mosque(Saudi Arabia), Aleppo Citadel (Syria), Mosque of M.Ali(Egypt),Suleyman Mosque (Turkey),Great Mosque of Qarawan(Tunisia),Kalyan Maniret(Uzbekistan) and Kulsharif Mosque(Russia) were available at TTI too.

Even if I never be in Palestine, my feelings deep inside gossiped me to tell the reader that my most personal favor for the varieties of mosque model was Kubbah As-Sakrah for the reason that it was decorated as real as the original one in term of appearances.
Till late afternoon, I couldn’t see the big ball of fire in the sky at the same time as we moving to TTI Restaurant provided us seats near the wide and large river, with have boats floating on. At the end of my sight, I could the Crystal Mosque was located on the island of Wan Man. According to what our guide had explained “It was constructed between 2006-2008 , also it was officially opened on February 8, 2008 by 13th Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin of Terengganu and it took more than 12,000,000 MYR”.
After Qasr Salah (Prayer while travelling) at the Mosque, I looked around and noticed that it was the most luxurious and magnificent mosque I had visited. The guide said “Today, if the sky is so bright, you can see the second sun while the sunshine reflecting its dome, it is very wonderful”.
Even though we didn’t go oversea to pay a visit to each mosque, this short trip increased me a lot of new knowledge and experiences concerning the great famous mosques in the world via videos and our friendly guide. Now TTI or ICP still exist in my good memory.
